Messages

Messages let you have private conversations with other people in your group. It's like texting, but inside the app.

Knowing When You Have New Messages

[Screenshot showing a notification badge on the Messages icon]

When someone sends you a message:

  • You might see a small number or dot on the Messages icon
  • If you have notifications turned on, you may get a notification on your phone

Quick Help: If you're not sure whether you have new messages, just tap Messages and check.

If You're Stuck

If a message doesn't send right away:

  • Give it a moment — it might just be slow
  • Check that your phone is connected to the internet
  • Try tapping "Send" again

If it still shows as unsent, you can close the app and open it again. Then try sending once more.

The app won't send duplicate messages, so you don't need to worry about the same message going twice.
