Events
Events are special gatherings — things like group sessions, talks, or live video get-togethers. Here you can see what's coming up and join in when it's time.

Viewing Upcoming Events
[Screenshot showing the Events section]
- Tap "Events" at the bottom of your screen (or find it in the menu)
- You'll see a list of upcoming events
- Tap any event to see more details
Each event shows:
- The name of the event
- When it's happening (date and time)
- A short description
Quick Help: Events are listed in order, with the soonest ones at the top.
Understanding Event Details
When you tap on an event, you'll see more information:

- What it's about — a description of the event
- When — the date and time
- How to join — usually a button that appears when it's time
Quick Help: The "Join" button usually appears shortly before the event starts. Don't worry if you don't see it yet.
Joining a Live Event
When it's time for an event to start:

- Open the Events section
- Find the event that's happening now (it may be highlighted or at the top)
- Tap "Join" or "Enter"
You'll be taken into the event.
Quick Help: If the "Join" button isn't there yet, the event might not have started. Check the time and come back when it begins.
What to Expect During a Video Event

Depending on the type of event, you might see:
- Video of the presenter or host
- Video of other people in the group
- A shared screen showing slides or content
Don't worry — you don't need any special equipment. Just your phone is enough.
Using the Video Controls
During a video event, you'll see some buttons at the bottom of your screen:
[Screenshot showing video controls with camera, microphone, and leave buttons]
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Camera (looks like a video camera) | Turns your camera on or off |
| Microphone (looks like a microphone) | Mutes or unmutes your voice |
| Leave (often red) | Leaves the event |
Quick Help: If you're not sure whether your camera or microphone is on, look at the icon. If it has a line through it, it's off.
Turning Your Camera On or Off
[Screenshot showing the camera toggle button]
- Look for the camera icon at the bottom of the screen
- Tap it to turn your camera on or off
When your camera is off, others can't see you. When it's on, your face will appear to others.
Quick Help: It's completely okay to keep your camera off if you prefer. Many people do.
Muting and Unmuting Yourself
[Screenshot showing the microphone toggle button]
- Look for the microphone icon at the bottom of the screen
- Tap it to mute or unmute
When you're muted, others can't hear you. This is useful if there's background noise where you are.
Quick Help: If you're trying to speak and no one can hear you, check if you're muted. Just tap the microphone icon to unmute.
Leaving an Event
When you're ready to leave:
[Screenshot showing the leave button]
- Look for a red button or "Leave" option
- Tap it
- You'll be taken back to the app
Quick Help: It's perfectly fine to leave whenever you need to. You won't disturb anyone.
After the Event
Once an event ends, you can simply close that screen. If there's a recording available later, you'll usually find it in the Events section.
If You're Stuck
Video can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. If things aren't working:
- Make sure your phone is connected to the internet
- Try leaving the event and joining again
- Close the app completely and reopen it
If you still can't join, don't worry — there will be other events. Technology sometimes has a mind of its own, and it's not your fault.
