Courses

If your group offers learning content, you'll find it here. Courses are like chapters in a book — you can work through them at your own pace, whenever suits you.

Finding Your Courses

  1. From your home screen, look for "Courses" or "My Learning"
  2. Tap it to see what's available to you

[Screenshot showing where to tap to access courses]

You'll see a list of courses. Some may already be available to you, while others might need to be unlocked.

Quick Help: If you don't see any courses, that's okay — your group may not have added any yet, or they may become available later.

Understanding Course Cards

Each course appears as a card with:

  • A title (the name of the course)
  • A short description (what it's about)
  • Sometimes an image

Tap on a course card to open it and see more.

Starting a Course

[Screenshot showing the course detail page with Start button]

  1. Tap on a course that interests you
  2. Read the description to understand what you'll learn
  3. Tap "Start" or "Begin"

You're now inside the course!

Working Through Lessons

Each course has lessons — smaller sections you can complete one at a time.

[Screenshot showing the lesson list within a course]

  1. Open your course
  2. Tap on the first lesson (or the next one you haven't done)
  3. Read, watch, or listen to the content
  4. When you're done, tap "Next" or "Complete"

Quick Help: You don't have to finish everything in one sitting. Your progress is remembered, so you can come back anytime and pick up where you left off.

Different Types of Content

Lessons might include:

  • Text to read
  • Videos to watch
  • Audio to listen to
  • Questions to answer

Simply follow what's on the screen. Each lesson will guide you through.

Quick Help: If a video doesn't play, wait a moment — it might still be loading. You can also try tapping the play button in the centre.

Checking Your Progress

Want to see how far you've come?

[Screenshot showing a course with progress bar or checkmarks]

  1. Open the course
  2. Look for a progress bar or tick marks showing which lessons you've completed

Completed lessons usually have a tick mark or different colour. Lessons you haven't started yet look different.

Quick Help: There's no pressure to finish quickly. Go at whatever pace feels right for you.

Returning to a Course

If you leave partway through:

  1. Go back to your courses list
  2. Find the course you were working on
  3. Tap it
  4. You'll see your progress and can continue from where you stopped

Downloading Videos to Watch Offline

You can save video lessons to your phone so you can watch them without an internet connection — great for when you're travelling or have a slow connection.

Downloading a Single Lesson

  1. Open a course and find a video lesson
  2. Tap the download icon (looks like a downward arrow) next to the lesson
  3. Wait for it to finish downloading — you'll see a progress indicator
  4. Once done, a checkmark appears on the lesson

Downloading an Entire Course

  1. Open the course detail page
  2. Tap Download Course at the top
  3. All video lessons in the course will download one by one

[Screenshot showing the Download Course button]

Watching Offline

Once downloaded, you can watch a lesson even without internet:

  1. Open the course as usual
  2. Tap the lesson — it will play from your phone instead of streaming

Quick Help: Downloaded lessons play just the same as streamed ones. You won't notice a difference.

Things to Know About Downloads

  • Downloads are stored for up to 30 days
  • After 30 days, the app checks if your access is still active. If it is, the download stays
  • You can manage (or delete) your downloads in Profile → Offline Videos
  • Downloads use storage space on your phone. If your phone is getting full, deleting old downloads can help

If You're Stuck

If a lesson seems to be loading slowly, just wait a few moments. If nothing happens:

  • Try going back (tap the arrow at the top left)
  • Open the lesson again

Your work is saved, so you won't lose any progress.

If a video won't play, you can try closing the app completely and opening it again. Sometimes this helps things load properly.

If a downloaded video won't play, try deleting the download and downloading it again while connected to the internet.
